What's the difference between this and a hand wash station?

Size and capacity. A hand wash station is built for a queue — multiple taps, bigger tanks, designed for a vendor row or a public event. A portable sink is a single compact unit for a small crew or one work area. If two or three people are using it, the sink is enough.

Can I rent just a sink on its own?

Yes, though most bookings pair it with a porta potty. On its own it's common for small trade crews, workshop overflow and short indoor jobs where there's no usable sink nearby.

Where can it be placed?

Anywhere reasonably level. It's compact enough for a driveway, a garage bay, a corridor on a fit-out job, or right beside a single porta potty without eating up the space a full station would.

Does it use fresh water?

Yes — a fresh water tank feeds the tap and used water collects separately. Both are handled at service, same as our larger units.

How often does it need servicing?

It depends entirely on use. A two-person crew might go a week comfortably; heavier use needs more frequent refills. We'll set the schedule around what you're actually doing rather than defaulting to weekly.
